A camel field carrying a single column of Turkmen güls in salmon, cream, teal and near-black, threaded on a fine dark line that runs through their centres from one end to the other. Small pale grey-green devices flank them at both field edges. The borders are very wide and worked almost solid — bands of hooked diamonds, star-güls and dense geometric filler in navy, teal, salmon and cream — and a broad end panel of diagonal lattice closes the rug. Cream fringe at both ends.
Hand-knotted in wool. Field and border are drawn at quite different densities: measured, the borders are about nine-tenths covered while the field keeps roughly a third of its camel ground open. At 76×429cm this is a very long runner, suited to a full corridor or a hall. A camel ground sits at the warmer, paler end and will show marks more readily than a dark rug.
