Only one available — one-of-a-kind.

An ivory field covered by a continuous ogival lattice — long serrated leaves in dark blue curving out and crossing to enclose each compartment — with a medallion at every node down the centre line. Those alternate: a solid royal blue disc holding pale blue and ivory florets, then an eight-pointed star in mid blue and wine red, then the disc again. Small squared grid motifs sit in the spaces between, and the palette runs to ivory, royal blue, mid blue, wine red and tan. A blush-cream main border of flowering vine frames it, with blue guard stripes and cream fringe at both ends.

Hand-knotted in wool. This is an all-over design rather than a pole — the medallions are nodes in a lattice that continues past them in every direction, not free-standing ornaments on an open ground, and the lattice runs off the border rather than resolving inside it. The palette is held to five or six colours, which is the Nain discipline: with little variety available the design carries itself on drawing. At 109×400cm this is a wide, very long runner, so measure the corridor before committing. The ivory ground will show traffic more readily than a dark rug would.

This is a fine, hand-knotted piece that rewards a little extra care. 100% wool pile with a natural fringe at both ends, worked at a knot count fine enough to hold Nain lattice drawing cleanly.

The ivory ground will show traffic and spills more readily than a dark rug would, though the density of the lattice hides light marking better than a plain pale field. A runner takes concentrated wear down its centre line, and this one is wide enough that the wear will fall squarely on the medallions. A rug pad and regular rotation matter accordingly.

The medallions here are not sitting on the field — they are held in it. Look at the long dark blue leaves: they curve out from each node, cross the ones coming the other way, and close an ogival compartment around every medallion before travelling on to the next. That makes this an all-over lattice rather than a pole design, and the difference is visible at the border, where the lattice is cut off mid-curve instead of resolving neatly. A pole design would have finished. Within that structure the medallions still alternate, and the two forms are opposites: the royal blue disc is a solid mass of colour with small florets inside it, while the star is an open outline in mid blue and wine red. Heavy, light, heavy, light down the length. The small squared grid motifs tucked between the compartments are a Nain filler — they exist because a lattice this regular leaves gaps of exactly the same size each time, and something has to occupy them without competing.
