• Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

This rug is built on one of the oldest ideas in pattern-making: reversal. It takes the same cream floral lattice and classical Persian border as the Ivory Gabbeh and flips the colours, setting the pale tracery against a deep mushroom brown so the design reads as warmth rather than light. Brown is the most grounding of colours, and here it brings a cafe-like, nature-led calm that pairs naturally with raw materials and artisan interiors. Small variations in colour and weave throughout are the signature of genuine hand-knotting, the mark of a single weaver and a one-of-a-kind piece.
