Care instructions

• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
• Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
• Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

This is the neutral cousin of the checkerboard Gabbeh: the same grid of squares filled with alternating diagonal striations, but worked in warm sandy beige and pale ivory so the pattern reads through texture rather than colour. The tones come from the wool itself with only light natural dyeing, and because each square is knotted by hand the surface shifts gently as the light moves — the honest signature of a hand-made piece.
