A warm coral field gives this fine Persian Nain a bright, uplifting glow, setting off a finely drawn blue-and-cream medallion at its centre, wreathed in scrolling Shah Abbasi palmettes, blossoms and vines in blue, ivory and soft camel. The vivid coral ground — a rare colour for a Nain — makes it a genuine statement piece, framed by an ivory border of flowering arabesques and a powder-blue guard.

Nain rugs are prized for their exceptional fineness — knotted at very high density from soft, hand-spun wool, which gives crisp definition to every curling leaf and flower. Material: 100 percent hand-spun wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.

Care instructions

  • Vacuum gently on low suction without a rotating brush, and avoid the fringes.
  • Use a rug pad underneath to cushion the pile and prevent slipping.
  • Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the natural-dyed colours.
