A deep navy field sets off a luminous cream-and-blue star medallion at the heart of this fine Persian Nain, wreathed in scrolling Shah Abbasi palmettes, blossoms and vines in ivory, powder-blue and soft camel. The rich navy ground gives the design a jewel-like depth, all framed by an ivory border of flowering arabesques and a powder-blue guard.

Nain rugs are prized for their exceptional fineness — knotted at very high density from soft, hand-spun wool, which gives crisp definition to every curling leaf and flower. Material: 100 percent hand-spun wool, naturally rich in lanolin, which gives it softness, a subtle sheen, and a natural resistance to everyday dirt and spills.
