Small stars, blossoms and vines fill the spaces between, and a bold golden floral border frames the whole. It is a rich, festive, traditional design with the warmth and glow of a classic tribal Oriental.
Hand-knotted in Afghanistan from fine, hand-spun Ghazni highland wool, the pile is dense and finely knotted, giving crisp detail across the medallions and border. The red is built from natural madder dye and glows with gentle abrash, and every motif is drawn slightly differently — the honest mark of a genuine one-of-a-kind, hand-made piece.
