Care instructions

• Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.
• Rotate the rug occasionally so it wears and fades evenly.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in, and do not rub.
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the colour.
• Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
• Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

This is a striped Gabbeh in a soft, earthy key. Broad horizontal bands in sage, sand, brown and cream are interrupted by two glowing lines of rust-orange, each band woven from its own hand-dyed batch of wool. Knotted by hand in Afghanistan, the stripes vary slightly in width and the colours drift gently along their length — the relaxed, unrepeatable rhythm of a single weaver working without a fixed pattern.
