Care instructions

This rug takes a formal damask motif and softens it into something calm and contemporary. Large cream palmettes are set in open vertical rows on a dusty sage-green ground, with enough space around them to keep the design light. Knotted by hand in Afghanistan from hand-spun, naturally dyed wool, the palmettes are drawn freehand and the green field carries gentle abrash — the quiet signature of a single weaver and a hand-made piece.
