Care instructions

• Vacuum regularly on low suction without a rotating brush.

• Use a professional rug cleaner for any deep clean.
• Light shedding is normal with new wool and settles within the first few months.

This is a striped Gabbeh at its boldest: instead of fine, even lines, the weaver has set down wide solid bands of dark brown against cream, letting the contrast carry the design. Small diamond-in-square motifs, drawn freehand, break the lighter bands with a touch of tribal detail. Because the wool is hand-spun and naturally dyed, the bands vary in width and depth and the little motifs never quite match — those irregularities are the fingerprint of a handmade piece, the trace of a single weaver rather than a machine.
