Care instructions

Gabbeh weaving is the most pared-back of the tribal traditions, and this rug takes that simplicity to its logical end: pure colour, no pattern. The weaver has stacked natural, hand-spun wool into broad horizontal bands — sand, taupe, mauve-brown and olive-gold — then anchored one end with a single band of coral for contrast. Because each strand is hand-spun and naturally dyed, the bands are never perfectly even; those soft striations are the fingerprint of a handmade piece, the trace of a single maker rather than a machine.
